My story
My eating disorder started early at the age of 13. I was under eating and doing hours of cardio to stay “small”. My eating disorder took over my life, all I could focus on was what not to eat & how much cardio I should do. I struggled with it for years, I would “ get better” and then find myself fall right back into old patterns. In my late 20s I had a wake up call and it was time for a change, a changed that made me happier and healthier.
After a lot of self-doubt, my battle with eating disorder and body dysmorphia forged a path toward healing through strength training and healthy eating. The gym became my sanctuary, where strength training became a metaphor for reclaiming my inner power. Each lift echoed resilience , drowning out the whispers of inadequacy. I learned to fuel my body with love , replacing guilt with gratitude . The synergy of training and balanced nutrition as well as professional help became my weapon against self-destructive thoughts. It took me years of falling back into old patterns and picking myself up over and over again until I saw the light.
Empowered by my own journey, I recognize the transformative potential in sharing stories and offering guidance and no longer being ashamed. I strive to be a source of support, helping women embrace their strength, reshape their relationship with food, and rediscover the beauty within. In the echoes of my past struggles, I find purpose in empowering others on their unique paths to self-love.
